Did you know that there is an online service which can manage your password even beyond the grave? The service is provided by Bequest Locker and would store the information for the life of the individual. Subsequently the individual’s beneficiaries would have to contact Bequest, supply a death certificate and other verification data before they will have access to the passwords.
This service is substantially less of a headache than fighting with online companies to disclose the details and access to the desist’s accounts. Would be interesting to see if this service takes off, since it does seem to offer good value for some would consider less of a headache.
