As you’ll know from reading this blog (or if you happen to know me in person), I am a huge fan of emerging technologies. One technology that has emerged over the last decade or so is LED technology, as LED lights are considered to be much better for the environment than traditional lights. At Christmas time it seems that just about everybody is advocating choosing LED lights over traditional lights for the old Xmas tree, and really those kind of thoughts should be true all year long.

As some of you probably know, I have been helping my parents to do some advertising for our small family business. There is just something special about getting all dressed up for a night on the town. Maybe it’s because I don’t get to do it very often (with kids, who does right?), and so I just love it when a special occasion or event comes up and I get to dress up. My husband really goes the extra mile on such events, as he really wants me to feel special and have a good time. Okay, I shouldn’t say “usually” as it’s only happened twice, but both occasions did make me feel very special and princess like, and they will never be forgotten. In fact, sometimes I think about them when my husband has made me mad, and it helps me to get over whatever trivial thing he did sooner!

As someone who has been wearing glasses for a few years now, I’m always nervous when I go to get my yearly eye test, as I know should I need new glasses that they will be quite expensive. In fact, I am used to paying around four hundred dollars and up each time I need new lenses, and so it puts quite a hole in my wallet! However, I have recently found out about a company called Zenni Optical, which is able to offer eyeglasses for much lower prices than you’ll find in retail stores. This is because they cut out the middle man, and bring their eyeglasses straight from the manufacturer to the consumer, by way of the internet.
I actually read a neat article about Zenni Optical on the Examiner.com website, where they reviewed the company in detail, and it really assured me that the Zenni products are not only low priced, but also of high quality. Frankly, that’s a combination that you just don’t see a lot of these days. It’s nice that it is now actually possible to buy quality eyeglasses at an affordable cost, and that I don’t have to be worried about price anymore when I go to get my eyes tested!

Who really doesn’t want to spy on another person once in a while? A device called the Stealth iBot computer spy can help you spy on someone else’s computer using a method that is more obscure than being attached to the spied computer.
The Stealth iBot makes use of the very common USB port so it can quickly be plugged into the target computer and within 5 seconds an untraceable software will be relayed to that computer’s hard drive. The device is to be removed then and the software will track any activity, including, passwords, web activity, typing, etc’. Once you are ready to look at the data, just re-attach the computer spy device, and the information will be copied to the iBot’s 1GB mobile hard drive.
The type of spying that can be done with the device include spying on spouses, children and employees. In my case, I have a couple of staff members who I suspect are wasting at least 2 hours every day looking at adult material on the Internet. One thing about these cold winter days is that it leaves me wanting to stay inside reading books. Of course, it’s easy to run out of good books quickly and so I’m always looking for something new to read.
