Finally Making Our House A Home!
As some of you guys probably remember, my husband and I have finally made the decision to redo a few rooms in our house. While we will buy new furniture for quite a few rooms (our old stuff is really not looking very nice, and is decades old now), we will fully redo the bathroom and the kitchen. It’s a task that we meant to do right away when we bought this place, however the timing was just never right. There were monetary concerns, and we were both so busy with work and the kids activities, that our remodeling projects sort of got pushed to the site.
Anyway, we are finally in a place where we have the money and the time to start making this house our true home! So, first on the list is to start picking out the new tiles, flooring and counter tops for the rooms we are redoing. This sure is an easier task than it once was, thanks mostly to the internet! Doing Some Shopping
DI have decided to splurge this week and buy some new clothing items for myself. While I, like most of the women I know, love to shop for new outfits, it’s something that I haven’t been doing in awhile, as we’ve been using most of our discretionary funds redecorating our house. However, after going through my closet the other day, it was pointed out to me by my dear daughter that some of my clothes are looking quite ratty and out of date. Well, I don’t want to be mocked, so this week I’m looking for some fashionable new clothes. It’s pretty exciting really!
The malls around here are pretty packed, and so most of my shopping will probably be done online. Frankly, there are almost always better deals to be found online anyway, and as long as close attention is paid to sizing charts, finding the right fit should be easy.
